Eucharistic Ministers
Ministry of the Eucharist gives to the minister the opportunity of bringing the Sacrament of the Body and Blood of Christ to the people of God. It is also the ministry of witnessing to the faith in the Real Presence of Christ in the consecrated elements. Men and women who are eighteen years or older, who participate in the Sunday Eucharist, and practice their faith, are eligible for this ministry.Lectors
The proclamation of the Word of God is truly a ministry in the Church. Lectors bring the Living word of God to the liturgical assembly when what they proclaim in faith stirs up faith in the hearers. Women and men of high school age or more are eligible for this ministry.Greeters
These important ministers welcome visitors and parishioners to Church services. The work of hospitality makes Christ known and felt by all who enter our Church.Altar Servers
Correctly known as acolytes, servers perform the important ministry of "waiting on table" so that the Eucharist is celebrated fittingly. Traditionally a ministry for the young, serving at the altar is a ministry for any practicing Catholic.Ministers of Care
These ministers are commissioned to bring the compassion of the Church to the sick and the homebound. During their visits, Minsters of Care bring Our Lord to the sick by His Word and by Holy Communion.Choir, Cantors and Musicians
The ministry of song is a vital service to our worshiping community. In all masses and sacramental celebrations, music makes our assembly more prayerful, more celebratory.Bereavement Ministry
Supports the family of recently-deceased parish members by preparing and serving food and refreshments in our Fox Parish Center at the conclusion of the funeral services. All families in the parish are encouraged to participate in this ministry by donating their time, talent, and $10/year membership.
